Hopefully you all had a great Easter weekend celebrating the resurrection of our Lord. The sun glowed from above and it was a glorious Lord's Day. I was grateful to be in church. We gathered for a sunrise service outside on the church grounds. Following the service everyone enjoyed a bountiful breakfast meal prepared by the men.

Tribute to "Miss" Pearl Descant will be this Saturday at Varnado Store Museum

On Saturday, May 10th there will be a tribute to "Miss" Pearl Descant, curated by her son, Jimmy Descant, with photos and memorabilia from his father.
Many will remember "Miss" Pearl as the "Teddy Bear Lady" who made lovely bears from all types of fabrics and had a booth each year at the Fair's Country Market.
