Greetings and Happy Wednesday! It's still summer time and hot. Hopefully cooler weather is just around the corner. Hopefully you had a nice, safe Labor Day which was this past Monday. For many of you, the day was enjoyed by time with your family.
It surely has been good getting the random showers and that grass keeps right on growing.

Remembering my dear friend Marguerite Thomas Lipani. Her birthday would have been September 12th. She is not with us this year to celebrate.
She loved to have her family and friends visit with her. Last year she received several pretty birthday cards and phone calls wishing her "Happy Birthday". She also got a big bouquet of fresh flowers from a special friend. By the way, she saved me a piece of her birthday cake. I went by later that afternoon.
I sure do miss having her call me on the phone every day. My friend went to her heavenly home on May 14th of this year at age 89.
Franklinton First Baptist Church ladies will host the Washington Baptist Association Women's Missions and Ministry meeting on Saturday, September 19th beginning at 11:30 am till 1:00 pm. All ladies are invited to come for a fun time of fellowship and food. I look forward to seeing you there. Our director Ivy will be happy to see you.
Remembering my brother Troy
It's been two years ago September 13th since my only living brother passed away. Every year he always reminded us of Dairy Day, and we looked forward to supporting him. I sure do miss him. I have one of his plaques hanging on my wall. Almost every year at Dairy Day, he was recognized and received a milk award. Troy took so much pride in his dairy farm.
Please continue to pray for the sick, shut-ins, lonely, our church family, our community, our state, country, the families who have lost beloved ones and each other. Folks, we all need God's guidance every day.
