Home and Garden Club held its December meeting

The Franklinton Home and Garden Club held their December meeting with a reading of the Christmas story, fellowship and an exchange of Christmas ornaments. Lisa Gros of Hammond was a special guest. She is the daughter of club member Glenda Hoarst who recently passed away. A candle was lit by Lisa during the meeting.

GRITS girls held their Christmas meeting

The G.R.I.T.S. girls, red hat group celebrated Christmas in Hammond at Murphy's seafood restaurant with Christi Cashio as our hostess. She and her husband Danny made miniature Santa clauses to decorate our tables, and everyone present went home with one.

Waverley Club holds December meeting

The Waverley Club held its December meeting on Thursday, December 5 at the Rock House. Hostesses Mary Mobley, Candy Jenkins, Karen Watson, and Cecile Green decorated for the Christmas season and served lunch on three tiered trays. Ladies enjoyed finger sandwiches, cheese balls, and dessert of pralines and fudge.
