For the second consecutive year, the Bowling Green Buccaneers fell just short of their championship dreams, suffering a 3-27 defeat at the hands of the defending and reigning champions, the Tri-County Rebels, in the 2024 MAIS Class 4A Championship game.

Bowling Green is in the MAIS 4A championship game this week against undefeated Tri County. Despite a mid-season coaching change, the Bucs have persevered and are playing for a championship for the second consecutive year.
