Baseball Demons defeat Central and Hammond

The Franklinton Demons baseball team had a good week last week as they won games against Central (5-3) and Hammond (10-1) while dropping decisions against Lutcher (14-10) and Ponchatoula (1-0).
Against Central the Demons fell behind 2-0 in the first inning as Central used an error and three singles to plate the runs.

David "Big Dave" is the son of Beth Jenkins Pettit and the late Mike Pettit. His mom taught in the Washington Parish School system for 35 years.
