FHS Demons blast Lakeshore for district win

The Franklinton Demons baseball team opened their district schedule with a nice win over the Lakeshore Titans last Tuesday evening at Demon Diamond, winning 11-4. Prior to the game the Demons were ranked #7 in the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association polls of all 4A teams, while Lakeshore was ranked #5.

FHS powerlifters bring home the medals

The Franklinton Demons powerlifting team participated in the State Championship in powerlifting last weekend in Monroe. FHS participates in the Division II in this particular sport. On the girl's side of things, the Demons had five lifters make it to the podium.

FHS pushes record to 8-2 with win over Poplarville

The Franklinton Demons baseball team faced off with the Poplarville Hornets last Thursday evening in Demon Diamond as part of the Demons baseball tournament. The Demons came into the game with a 7-2 record and the Hornets were coming in with a nice 10-1 record.

FHS Demons pick up 3 wins, move record to 7-1

The Franklinton Demons baseball team had a solid week last week as they won three games over Varnado, Sumner and Hammond while dropping a hard fought 2-1 decision to Ponchatoula. The Demons ended the week with a fine 7-1 overall record.
