The weekends these days are just not long enough. Like the meme says, there need to be a day between Saturday and Sunday called Sunturday. I can’t stress this suggestion enough, especially when traveling to Shreveport up in one day and back the next.

Well, all of our football teams won this weekend! Franklinton High beat Covington High, LSU beat Grambling, Saints beat the Titans, Centenary beat Evangel Christian Academy 79-6 (impressive!), oh... and Texas beat Alabama! It has been a good weekend all the way around, especially having Gracie home from school.

Thank you Lord for the on again off again rain! We were trying to get used to hearing thunder and seeing lightening. My dog Patches was trying to figure out if it was really thunder (also known as should I shake and shiver and pant) or was it a truck.
