Pine pushes season record to 5-0 with big win over East Iberville

Pine’s strong 2023 season continued last Friday night as the Raiders ran all over East Iberville to take a 48-14 Homecoming win.
Now 5-0 on the season, Pine faces a crucial District 8-3A game this coming Friday night when they will host Albany.
Albany, at 4-1, is second in the district behind Pine.

Parish Council meets, hears more about jail overcrowding

The Washington Parish Council met on September 25 at the Washington Parish Courthouse. At 5:45 a Public Hearing-Board of Review was held. There were no appeals received during the 2023 assessment period and the council closed the Board of Review. At 6:00 pm the regular meeting was called to order.
