Bogalusa mayor to face arraignment on Monday

The legal problems of Bogalusa Mayor Tyrin Truong increased dramatically on Thursday (October 30) of last week when a Washington Parish Grand Jury indicted the mayor on multiple corruption charges.
He was arrested this past January by state police during a drug trafficking investigation.

The Red Hat luncheon was Halloween costume-themed for the October attendees. Hosted by Ann Hingle, it was held at Mike’s Catfish in Amite. Birthday ladies were Linda Corkern, Nell Smith, and Loretta Booty. Door prizes were won by Kathy Mc Elveen, Jean Lulue, Dot Cashio, Sue Burch, Jill Sullivan, and Amanda Huggins.

Shasta Club heard from Hope House director at meeting
