Mom and Grandma's wives' tales... or not?

I was recently reading one of my favorite two magazines, Good Housekeeping. There was mention of the old wives' tale that being out in the cold will give you a cold. Many people have argued over the years that this is not the case. Actually fresh air and pure sunshine are two of the greatest proponents of wellness.

Clay's favorite tie

I have known people who have an aversion to people who post pictures and notes on their refrigerator. My family would not be considered in that group. We have everything from Christmas cards, to reminders, to fortunes from fortune cookies. We have favorite sayings and ticket stubs of a recently watched concert.
