Shreveport student and Louisiana state champion Gregory Route III won the 2023 Southwest Regional Elks Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest held in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, March 18th. Gregory, sponsored by the Shreveport Elks Lodge won the 8-9 year old boys division by sinking 22 free throws out of 25 attempts.
