Mckenna Rushing, far left in photo above, is congratulated by her Franklinton High School supporters shortly after being named 2022 Queen of the Washington Parish Fair last Wednesday evening. The new queen is a senior at Franklinton High. Queen Mckenna was crowned on the Main Stage by the outgoing queen, Lindsey McGehee.

Interested in driving a school bus?

The Washington Parish School System will be hosting the Louisiana Mandatory School Bus Operator Training Class for anyone interested in substituting on a bus. Individuals interested in the class must attend all four sessions. All classes will be held at the Washington Parish School Board Office at 800 Main Street, Franklinton.
