GRITS Girls celebrated with the February gathering

The G.R.I.T.S. girls celebrated February gathering at Mike's Catfish restaurant in Amite, La., with Sue Burch as our hostess. She used a Mardi Gras theme. Nellie Smith gave the blessing for our food. We had 19 ladies in attendance.

Waverley Club held its February meeting

The Waverley Club met on Thursday, February 6 at the historic Rock House. Ladies enjoyed a lunch of tomato soup, spinach and strawberry salad, and Valentine's cake for dessert. Decorations were Valentine's Day themed with wooden hearts of red, pink, white and gold.

The G.R.I.T.S. girls, red hat group celebrated Christmas in Hammond at Murphy's seafood restaurant with Christi Cashio as our hostess. She and her husband Danny made miniature Santa clauses to decorate our tables, and everyone present went home with one.
