Folks have said for years that we usually get that "Easter cool snap" and so it was for this year. School is out this week. A very needed break for the teachers, staff, and students.

Hello again everyone. Welcome to a brand-new month. April is here, Spring is here, and the warm weather is here. School is only 4 days this week, as Friday is "Good Friday". School will be out all of next week as well for "Spring Break". (a much-needed break for sure).

question is "Yes" my 'taters did get bit pretty good with that last frost we had. But I'm thankful that some did make it, so with the Lord's blessings I just might have a few to dig in a few weeks.

Hello again everyone. Well, as I'm typing this up my calendar says that tomorrow is the first day of Spring. But also, as I'm typing this they say we are going to get upper 20's in the morning. Wow.!! Oh well, it is Louisiana weather. My 'taters are up about 3 inches so they'll prolly get bit tonight.
