Undefeated FJHS beats Amite

The Franklinton Junior High Falcons put together a complete performance last Tuesday night in Amite, dominating Amite from start to finish in a 34-0 shutout. This puts the Falcons record at a nice 5-0 on the season. The Falcons will host Loranger at home on October 13.

Mesmerized by an interesting article my parents saved, entitled "Jacob and Mary Ann Magee Photographs Donated" published by renowned historian Daunton Gibbs in October of 1979, my original intent was to relay the information therein and to feature the Magee house that became a part of Mile Branch Settlement in 1977.
