Pine and Varnado players make 9-2A All-District

The football coaches of District 9-2A have released their all district selections for the 2021 football season. District 9-2A is made up of Amite, Kentwood, St Helena, Pine, Varnado and Independence. The state champion Amite Warriors dominated the selections with19 first team selections.

New FHS football coach will begin duties in January

Franklinton High school has appointed a new football coach to fill the opening created when Jonathon Barber stepped down recently.
Guy Lecompte will take over the reins of the Demons football program and will also be the FHS Athletic Director.

6 of 8 FHS All-District players are underclassmen

The coaches of District 9-4A that includes Franklinton, Lakeshore, Salmen and Pearl River recently released the All District football team and, as usual, the Demons of Franklinton High were well represented with six first team selections and three second team selections.

FHS Demons & Lady Demons split with Kentwood in hoop action

The Franklinton Demons and Lady Demons basketball teams faced off with their counterparts from Kentwood last Thursday evening in the FHS gymnasium with the Demons coming out on top 54-46 and the Ladies falling just short at 40-35.
