Pine Junior High wins parish football championship

The Washington Parish Junior High football championship game was held last week at Varnado High stadium between the Franklinton Junior High Falcons and the Pine Junior High Raiders. These two teams qualified as the two teams of the four parish teams with the best records.

FHS season comes to an end with playoff loss

The Franklinton Demons football team was ejected from the class 4A playoffs in the first round last week by the Lakeshore Titans with a 62-31 drubbing from the district champions. The win drops the Demons to a 4-7 record for the season. Lakeshore will move on to play Cecilia.

FJHS defeats Varnado, to play Pine for championship

The Franklinton Junior High Falcons football team recently played the Varnado Junior High Wildcats and came out on top of a 30-0 score. With the win Coach Andy Creel and his Falcons were set to play for the Washington Parish Junior High Championship which was to be held on November 16 at Varnado against the Pine Junior High Raiders.
