Parish Playoff Picture - The parish playoff picture has narrowed down with Franklinton and Pine losing their first round games last week. This leaves only the Bogalusa Lumberjacks still playing. The Jacks will be on the road to face the Lutcher Bulldogs, a perennial playoff team which has loads of playoff experience.

Despite losing to Pine, FJHS in contention for parish junior high championship

The Franklinton Junior High Falcons football team recently played the Pine junior high Raiders and came out on the bad side of a 7-0 score. Despite the loss Coach Andy Creel and his Falcons remain in contention for the Washington Parish Junior High Championship to be held on November 16 at Varnado.

FHS Demons defeat Pearl River, move into playoffs

The Franklinton Demons football team won a big game last Friday evening against the Pearl River Rebels in a district game as they improved their power rating with the win as well as their overall record to 4-6. The Demons have qualified for the playoffs as the 23 seed and will be on the road this Friday at the 10 seed Lakeshore.
