Well, the 2023 Washington Parish Free Fair was one for the books. It didn’t really go as planned for the most part, we had some sicklies, some too much sun, many my feet hurt, and a lot of I am just worn out. It is hard to believe I will have a Senior at next year’s Fair!

Oh, my goodness! Franklinton High School’s Homecoming game was one for the books! We all had a WONDERFUL time visiting with friends (especially the Class of 1993) and the game was a nailbiter to say the least! The game was not going so well in the beginning, then it was back and forth and THEN we WON!

I can’t believe it is one week until the Washington Parish Free Fair! I have always loved Fair time, because back in the day it was actually cool, and you could wear the cutest fall clothes. Nowadays it seems like you have to wear shorts and t-shirts, and nearly sweat to death.

October 14th is Election Day. Please remember to get out and vote. Early voting is going on right now until October 7th I believe. I would never tell someone how to vote, but it is vital to use your right to vote during each election.
